Fat Injection Procedure
Before the Fat Injection is performed, the person's expectations are evaluated mutually with the doctor and the appropriate methods are explained in detail. Patients should stop taking aspirin and similar medicines week in advance. Before the Fat Injection process begins, photos of the area are taken. Fats that will be injected as a filler are usually taken from the inside of the thigh, around the abdomen, and in the pelvis area. Fat is removed from this area by making incisions using the liposuction method. Fat tissue is passed through a special washing process, and then injected into the area where the filling will be made in no time. The important thing in this process is that the fat cells taken must remain alive until the transfer is over. While the fat cells that remain alive provide fullness, the cells that die do not have a function. In this regard, the methods and tools used have a great role in preserving the viability of cells.
Fat Injection process can be performed alone or combined with other processes. Local or general anesthesia is preferred depending on the size of the area in the fat injection process, which is performed at an interval of about half an hour to an hour. After the procedure, patients can be discharged immediately.
