Buttock Lift

Buttock Lift

Having a voluminous and plump buttock is the dream of almost every woman. Even when trying to bring their body to the ideal size, many women want to have a wider butt. In addition to being attractive to have curved lines, it also raises self confidence. Although people who have a small and flat butt from birth, especially women, gain weight, they may not see an expansion in their butt area or even more disfigurement may occur. Under the influence of aging and gravity, existing butt fat can melt, sag and create an undesirable image. Buttock lift surgery is one of the most preferred methods to achieve a steep and full hip and to make the distinction between waist and hips more evident.

Buttock Lift Procedure

Buttock lift surgery is performed by choosing one or more of these methods:

1. Liposuction

2. Fat injection

3. Butt prosthesis (silicones)

Buttock lift method is determined to comply with the hip image that the person wants and the body measurements determined by the doctor. The size of the butt lift is determined and the places to be treated are drawn. If there is no intense sagging in the butt area and a light lifting operation is to be performed, the fat taken from a certain area of the body by liposuction is transferred by injecting into the lower part of the butt so that the butt becomes lifted and plump. If there is a lot of sagging and a more voluminous butt is desired, the implant method, which is called buttock prosthesis, is used.

In the silicone implant method, an incision is made in the hip and the doctor inserts the implant under or inside the gluteal muscle. Since the implant is inserted in muscle, it does not create an unstable image on the butt. This method takes about two hours under general anesthesia. Silicone implant method attracts attention with its persistence compared to other fat injection processes. The life span of fillings made by fat injection is on average two years, while the duration of permanence of surgeries performed with implants is life long.

Healing Process

After the operation, it may be necessary to stay in the hospital for one to three days. Having no pressure on the buttocks for 2-3 weeks will accelerate recovery. After buttock lift surgery, the patient wears a special corset for 2 weeks. It is advisable that the person does not return to work for two weeks and rest. The patient cannot lie on his back for a week and sit on his butt. Antibiotics should be used against the risk of infection and painkillers given by the doctor should be used against pain. Patients can start light exercise after about a month.

There are no scars in liposuction and fat injection procedures. If buttock lift surgery is performed with the addition of an implant, it is necessary to protect the scars from exposure to sunlight or solarium radiation for two to three months. A year after the operation, the remaining scar will become indistinct, and the remaining scar will not create an uncomfortable image.
